Maddy’s skills in new baby photography are in huge demand, not only by parents but also by photographers, as Maddy is regarded as the UK’s premier trainer in the safe and creative art of new baby posing.
She travels the UK and Europe teaching newborn posing, and has been chosen to train people from as far as India, Argentina, Kuwait and Hong Kong. Maddy is also a co founder of the Baby and Newborn Photographers Association.
Maddy is also a multi Award Winner with, amongst others, the Guild of Newborn and Baby Photographers, where she has achieved Qualified status in 2015, as well as Associate with The National Photographic Society.

A WORD ON WORKING WITH NEWBORNS
For a tiny newborn baby, discovering what the world – and other humans – feel like is such a big part of the few days, weeks and months of life.
That is why so much care, training and guided experience are required before a newborn photographer can be called so.
Your baby cannot talk, but they will perceive how it feels to be held and touched or even how it feels to just be around the person you have chosen as your photographer.
Do they feel confident and calm?
Is their touch reassuring and firm, but gentle and patient?
Are they used to “reading” babies and their needs?
