The grasp reflex is a natural and uncontrollable reflex in newborns, and in some it’s really strong, with baby having a grip like iron.
But I do NOT like a photo with fists on show. Ever.
So I work hard to get relaxed fingers and some babies are fine with it, and some resist a little, but with lots of patience I believe the results speak for themselves 🥰
