Fresh 48 Newborn Session
The first 48 hours when you bring your baby home from the hospital whizz by in a flash. As you are getting accustomed to life with a newborn it really is a case of blink and it’s gone.
With this in mind I have created these new Fresh 48 sessions. I will preserve your new baby’s freshest features, right when you’re discovering them for the first time. Those first couple of days getting to know your new baby is when you really notice the tiny finger nails, the fluffy ears, the eyelashes. Then in the blur of sleepless nights, they’re forgotten.
I will come to your home (ideally within the first 48 hours you are home but of course can still be done a little later) and spend around an hour capturing some of these precious first moments. No props or outfits, just lots of firsts and the love captured between a brand new family. Unlike in the studio where I pose baby and handle her the entire time, in a Fresh 48 session I won’t handle baby at all. I’m just there to observe your baby with you.
I won’t ask you to do anything except whatever comes naturally, and I will move around you, capturing the most natural images of your baby possible. You don’t have to be in the images if you don’t want to, I can simply focus on baby. You may wish to plan her first bath for when I come, or a feed.
You will get beautiful images of your baby without having to leave the comfort of your own home, whilst at the same time immortalising some of those first precious moments that all too often just pass in a haze of dirty nappies, feeds and sleepless nights.
Don’t worry if you require a longer hospital stay either, these are baby’s first 48 hours AT HOME, so even if you aren’t back straight away you can still book one of these beautiful sessions.
We recommend booking these sessions in advance, securing a slot by making payment and using your due date as a guide; then let us know once baby arrives so we can arrange your session. Although if you’ve already had your baby and fancy one of these, do still get in touch to see if we can fit you in!
The sessions will be £199.00 and include ALL the hand edited digital images via download.
